Well we finally received the much needed rain we were all asking for. As much as we don't like to
see our rivers go out, it's a good thing in the long run. With the rise in the rivers I am seeing now, the
next shot at fishing will be Saturday maybe and Sunday for sure. Before the rains hit there were lots
of fish in all of the rivers it was just a challenge at some points to get them to bite. LOW AND CLEAR
condidtions call for stealthy fishing tactics. If you put your time in and be patient, you will be
rewarded. Now that we have plenty of water, I look for steelhead to be lurking around every corner.
Get ready because it's on now.

Happy New Year!!!

Well the year started out with a bang and some rain to get things started. Just what the doctor
ordered. Fishing was good and us fisherman were happy campers. But since the rain just before
the new year, we have not had a drop to speak of that would put any rise in the rivers. Consiquently,
the fishing and the rivers have been droping dramatically. We are down to a crawl now. There are
still fish to be caught, it's just much harder to get them without spooking them. There's is hope on
the horizon. Our weather pattern is scheduled for a change coming next week. Not a minute to soon,
I might add. Look for things to improve when the rain gets here.

FISH ON,

Alan
