May 20, 2008

I know, it has been awhile since my last report but there hasn't been a whole lot of
fishing going on in our area for awhile. We've had a lot of snow melt in the last few
weeks, causing the rivers to rise sharply. Not only that but the flows on the Trinity have
been ramped up to 6000 CFS for 10 days and are just now beginning too come down.
As the snow melt and the Trinity flows begin to recede, the Klamath will start to fish
better and better everyday. It will be about another week before we see the fishing start to
improve on both the Klamath and Trinity Rivers. Look for some good action in the
coming weeks. I will be running some trips in between coaching softball all summer
long and I am looking forward to the Fall season on the Klamath/Trinity  for some good
numbers of fish and also some very large fish throughout the season. Don't forget to
book early for both your fishing and lodging.
